ALright so this is going to be one of the semi long and depressing journals that will end up happy for some odd reason as usual. But for the most part after I saw my mom the weekend of July 10th, I came home to my fosters and found my room had been turned inside out and my laptop was missing. Apparently they had gone into by bedroom while I was gone and just flipped everythhing and told me I had to clean it all and I wouldn't get my laptop back until they said so. My laptop was given to me by my grandfather, i'm 18 years old, where was the right in my privacy being invaded and my computer taken? None. So I completely lost it, already having to deal with my foster mother being a bitch because my mother was "supposedly" according to her I was supposed to be home 2 hours ago (4:00) and so I didn't get a phone call until almost fuckingg 6 asking me where I was. When my mother nad I were on our way there. She was being a bitch already so there was already stress going on. I got tired of it, so I called my DCF worker, no one there cause it was a sunday, so I called a hotline and talked to someone, when I got up the next morning my foster mother made me get up at 6:30AM and tried to make me clean. I sat on my bed and waited for my worer where I finally told her I had enouogh. I didn't actually get to my worker until like 5 hours I woke up, I had talked to her supervisors supervisor, the head and then I told them I was leaving DCF. I was sick and tired of thier shit and I was willing to risk my education of them paying for college. I left that day, Monday, with all my stuff and DCF. Sure, I have one more year, I won't be with my friends in graduating sadly.... and I'll have to finish school in a completely new state. But so far I have to say it's been worth it. There are so many job options here it's not even funny, I don't know what people are bitching about. So I'll be getting a job soon, i'll be going to a different self and start fresh, who knows maybe i'll enjoy it. But I plan on doing community college before going to a better college. We'll see how all of this works out. For now all I know is that I am happy now, I'm with my real family now and I personally think it was a wise choice, because not only will my pysical health get better, but also my mental health. Life is slowly getting better, and i'll take on what ever there is now that i've finally broke the attachment and restraints DCF had on me. I'll post again later.
